i have an mr2turbo and when i get to about 130mph my engine just sort of dies and wont give me any more power so im wondering if my car has rev limiter or engine restricter on it and if so where would i find it and how would i go about removing it

if any knows please let me know cheers

Obviously your chatting about a race track and not public roads... :yes:

and yes.. it sounds like a speed limiter issue.. and yes they can be removed.. purely for track outings.. :thumbsup:

I'd say limiter as well. Althought I was led to believe the limiter was set in Japan at 112-113mph and 13psi boost???

yeah but speedo's can be way off .. and if a car has different rims etc etc.. can be even more off.. esp when you reach those speeds..
