Hi Folks,

As I just signed on the dotted line for a 2001 3dr RAV this morning :D , I'm currently wrangling with the dealer offer to extend the 1 year Toyota warranty the car is supplied with. What do you reckon ? Is it worthwhile shelling out an extra £660 to cover the car for an extra 2 years ? Is the Toyota warranty particularly good or am I just as well looking at one of the insurance based suppliers ? Or is the RAV so good that I can take my chances without ? All opinions gratefully received !

From my own experience with Toyota's, and the family experience with the RAV, I wouldn't pay the £660. We've had 7 Toyota's over the last 30 years in the family and only ever broken down once, it cost about £150 to fix. :)
