Hi,

I am buying a Celica that has a premium pack on it. On the documentation that I have about the car it just says check Celica 1.8 Vvti 3-Dr so I have just mentioned this to the insurance company. Do I need to tell them that it has the premium pack or not? When you get a quote there are only two variations for the Celica (140 and 190 bhp).

Cheers

nope wouldn't have thought so.

The 190 is a VVTLi instead of a VVTI, that would make a difference but unless they had a seperate option for a VVTI with premium pack then I wouldn't worry.

Safest bet though is to ring them and ask them

What have other people done who have the premium pack on?

I think if I call them and ask they will just add loads of money on because when they look on their screen they will be like "I don't have that as an option so I'm going to charge you".

Cheers
