awesome dude, that looks so much better compared to the standard ride height before  although i say lower the rear a little more :D but then i like a very low ride so thats just my opinion, do you know how many mm its lowered by now?

in a car you have dampers (shock absorbers) and springs. Lowering springs just are shorter and usually stiffer springs. Coilovers are a damper and spring in one. They are quite often adjustable in both height and damper rate (in this case just height adjustable) and therefore you have total control over your cars suspension :D Thats just a breif explanation! Hope it helped!

Not always the case, the Yaris' rear dampers and springs aren't together!

Correct making the rears not strictly coilovers! :P The rears aren't coilovers as how i understand coilovers are coil (spring) over (the damper).

Aye but they'd still be height adjustable and damper rate adjustable! :P

And not all cars have springs and damper's... there's live-axles, wishbones, multi-link, trailing-arm and moulton-rubber.

There are also three types of spring... coil, leaf and torsion

The Yaris has what's known as:

Mcpherson Strut suspension with coil springs and anti-roll bar at the front.

Mcpherson Strut suspension with independant coil springs, anti-roll bar and fixed beam axle at the rear.

I think!

It's all very complicated!

Nice car you've got there

I know the tein springs lower 38mm at the rear, does anyone know if this kit lowers that much at the rear and it's obviously the front that's ajustable.
