St182 Backbox Wanted

I've currently got a Powerflow backbox on my ST182. It looks great, and it sounds great on short journeys, but out of town in can get rather too loud and droning when the accelerator is down (doesn't help having a decat as well).

Went out in a Scooby the other day which had a Blitz 4" full system (mine has 2" tubing), and it was a lot less noisy than mine, which seriously surprised me.

So, I'd like to get a different backbox and was wondering what the off the shelf options are for just a backbox, and where I could get one.

The Powerflow guys down here aren't the best, and the box they supplied isn't exactly big, so that doesn't make it that quiet.

I'd like something other than the twin exit box like the Mongoose, and would prefer an oval exit if possible. Obviously it needs to be a big box to absorb as much sound as possible.

I was thinking off the shelf because if I get a universal box I am going to have to take it to Powerflow to make up the rest of the tubing, because they are the only guys round here that do that sort of thing, and I don't really want to go to them if I can help it.

Any ideas, links etc much appreciated

I dont know if this is of much use to you. But my local National tyres depot is very helpful. I went in with my BMW when the back box fell off, and they cobbled up a non standard (I think) back box which they had lying around and some tubing from the middle box for the price of a couple of drinks. Plus parts of course. Less than £20 anyway. Top blokes. Oh it was on a Sunday and they were quiet.... Bless `em.
