Boost Gauge

Hi

On the turbo models there's a little boost gauge on the dash with 3 slightly thicker white lines. I'm guessing that the needle is ment to be on/around the second of the lines when the car is turned on, but what does it mean if the needle is almost at the top of the gauge?

Thanks

Paul

On full boost that needle will be off the top of the scale.

IMO that the standard boost gauge is s**te, don't tell you much apart from you got some boost......... :D

Most people on here will tell you the same.

I think the top line is supposed to be full boost, the next thick one down (quite far down) is 0, and below that is vacume (idle)

But you'll notice that it takes so long to respond when you put your foot down ! - its rubbish, and what boost level is it indicating, hi or low, WOW, but what PSI / Bar -RUBBISH POINTLESS GAUGE !

Guest rev3turbo

yup between middle n bottom mark is vacuum, middle is 0 top is full boost but in standard trim mine went way off the scale,

it is pretty useless tho n soooooooo slow to react, best bet is to get an after market one, my greddy reads about 1 bar before the standard one even moves to +ve boost !!!!
