the 4efe can take a lot of boost as long as the tune is good and the revs are kept to a decient level, i have pushed the 4efe to 25psi but the fuel pump couldnt handle it and i was lucky not to break a piston, i have got a walbro 255 pump for it now so ill push it there again! i never rev the engine over 7000rpm, any more than this the rods will cry enough,

i have not compared 5e rods to 4e rods but i will do this very soon, but as long as the revs are kept down and the tune is good the engine will last for eva.

apparently the 5e rods are a bit thicker than the 4efte rods, but then again, the redline on a 5e is 5600rpm whereas you can go over 7000rpm on the 4efte, so i presume the 4e rods were built more to high revs

5efhe rods are bigger than 4efte rods, but 5efe rods are different to 5efhe rods,

i will compare the differences soon
