Have had the Rav4 now for just over a week, got the A/C sorted courtesy of Mr. T no questions asked they just went ahead and serviced it and regassed it good as new now, then apologised for the fault - very nice of them, so i purchased some wind deflectors whilst i was there - about £24 a pair i think i paid for them.........anyway am now on the verge of buying some side steps, have had a look around whilst on the road and i have'nt seen any Mk1 or 2 with any fitted the nearest i saw was one with the stainless steel bars they looked ok but would like a comparison..........toyotas side steps for this model are now discontinued they only do the S/S bars so if anybody has a pic of one 'kitted' out so to speak please let me know..........many thanks.

Seeing your signature as MK 1 or MK2,your 1999 Rav4 is a MK1 facelift, also called generation 1 facelift :  .

Many thanks for the info on what model Rav i have got, Also thanks for the link to the site, i had browse around a few days ago and received their catalogue yesterday, at the same time i found a 4x4 accessories shop very much like the link a few miles from where i live so ventured there today to compare prices and there is very little difference plus they do a fitting service although did not enquire as to how much they charge, so if there are any owners in the NE who are interested as to where it is here is their link, they are based in Bedale near Northallerton.
