Is This Cvered Under Warranty

I've had my 2003 Celica for almost 3 months and love it.

however this morning i noticed a drip from the top of the pillar at the right hand side of the windscreen. the velour roof lining is wet in that area and preumably water will be inside the platic trim which covers that pillar at the windscreen.

it may be a one off but if this continues there's obviously a problem somewhere.

My car is covered by Toyota warranty until June 2006 and dealer warranty for a further 6months.

Is this sort of thing covered by Toyota warranty?

SHould i go to my dealer and request a warranty repair?

It sounds like a badly fitted windscreen. They should sort it under warranty, it probably just needs the screen cutting out and resealing.

it seems too high to be a poorly fitted screen....but then again you never know.

I'll let it dry out and see if it stays dry - if it does then it's been some water through the window when driving or something. If it gets wet repeatedly then i'll take it in to the dealer.

It could be a door seal then? Bear in mind that the water wicks and runs all over the place, so it could be getting in somewhere else. You don't have a sunroof do you?

My door/window seals were replaced under warranty at 7 months old. It's a known fault for the window seals to be leaky. Definately get down the dealers and get them to fix it.
