Injection Cleaning Solution

Hi all,

Thx for sorting out my bonnet problem! As a newbie, I have more questions to fire and I appreciate your patient! ;)

I have seen some "Engine Injection Cleaning" additive... you know the one which you add to a full tank of patrol and it claims to clean the engine injection bit?

My question is, do they work? Coz I just bought this 2nd hand 2003 T3, I am just wondering if the solution would help cleaning some internal stuff?

Also, any recommended brand that I could get from Halford?

I've never used an additive but I do treat the MR2 to a regular tank of Optimax which should keep things clean.

Probably should use it all the time, but I don't go out of my way for it, just get some when I see a Shell station.
