Non Interference Engine

could anyone tell me if my 6th generation celica a 1997 st with a 7a-fe engine has a non interference engine.Looked everywhere but can not find this information so probably some of you guys might know.

AFAIK it is supposed to be a Non-Interference Engine like the 3S-GE but all of my Data CD's that I have list as inbetween or just for their own safety list it as Interference. By inbetween I think it means that 9 times out of 10 it will act as a non-intereference engine, but under certain circumstances it may end up as an Interference engine.

Basic advice is to get the Cam Belt done as often as possible (within reason) mine only cost £80. Much better than the worry and a large bill if all does go wrong
