Used Ebay Key.

Is it just me , or is this guy having a laugh !, once a key has been cut to fit one car,what use is it to another vehicle.

And i'm sure you can't get a new Key blade as he suggests, sound like a rip off .

I was looking at the black part of the key as mine is scratched, but as the key blade is not removable ,its no good for that either :( .

You must be able to open the plastic bit up somehow, how else do you change the Battery????

you can open them but don't think that the blade can come free at all

i got a spare from a corolla 2001. it looks similar at first glance.

it's the spare key froma car that my wife had written of for her as somebody spun on the other side off the road, and she drove into her car (T bone).

car is gone but the key somehow stayed lol.

Luckily so did the wife. (apart from a big bruise (sp.)

It is possible to change the blade but very few places can/will do it :)

The blade just fell out of mine it's now held in with super glue and tape.

I was going to get a new remote fob but at £100 I'll stick with the glue & tape (unless somebody wants to throw one my way? )
