fitted it a couple of weeks ago, wasnt to bad to fit in the end but didnt cure the problem(didnt fit OEM as it was three times the price)work done so far to try to fix the steering wobble: new front prop, reconed rear prop, steering damper new discs and pads, new swivel bearings, new shimms and hub seals, new tyres, tracking and blanacing.

Think it may be the castor but theres no adustment so im a bit lost at what to do.any specilists out there who may have a idea of what to try next.

Have you checked the steering idler and pitman arm.

hi andy thanks for your input ,theres no idler on my model (independent suspension model only I think),as for the pitman arm that looks in very good nick and evey thing around the steering is nice and tight with no play.I`m starting to think it may be the front springs although I dont know why as they look OK it just that I`m running out of possibilities and money.

also there is a slight diffrence between the right and left front ride hight . what do you think? :help:

So do you have a steering box or rack, and does it have coil or leaf springs, sorry not up on the Hilux only have the surfs.
