Hi can people help me out basically im after a full exhasut system, de cat, manifold etc

a few questions though, what is the fujitsubo a backbox or cat back?, are there any cat back systems for yaris or can i get one made up using oringinal backbox, or an after market backbox?and whats a recomenned biore, baring in mind the back pressure?

secondly what is the recommended bore for a cat back system or backbox, baring in mind im getting the de cat and manifold fitted shortly and im sure kevin from envy siad it was 2 3/4 inches, So it would be best for 2 3'4 all the way from from the back bax to end of cat (pipe comin off manifold).

Do anyone know what the before and after bore was through all the sections and if a 2 3/4 pipe wil fit for the cat back

hope someone can help

thanks, adam

the fujitsubo is just a back box.

as for bore size of the pipework I think when I had mine done it was either 2.5" or 2 3/4". Not sure what size the standard pipework is.

As for cat back systems, I think mongoose do a cat back.

Manifold, obviously you will need to get from envy.

If you found a decent powerflow dealer they would fit and do your pipework, plus the manifold, and whatever backbox you wanted

cheers fella, does anyone know wht envys de cat bore will be

i presume i should get 2 3/4" all the way through, that will be okay for back pressure and performance

yes it should be, but make sure you get a back box that won't restrict airflow, preferably one with the same diameter inside as the pipework, otherwise there will be no point in getting the wider pipework to start with.

here's a pic of mine, it's a 4" tailpipe, but the diameter inside to let the gasses out is huge.

I had a peco on my punto, it was a nice sounding exhaust but the back pressure was immense, you could feel it when you took your foot off the accelerator, it felt like it was still pushing the car. It's awkward to explain.

They could have changed their range, but most exhausts have a small tailpipe, and usually a smaller diameter inside.

Stick with something from envy or one from powerflow, you should get the best from either

My HKS is a cat-back system as is the fuji as far as I know.

The HKS rear tailpipe is 4inch - and shiney!

As far as I remember the piping on the sports cat system is 2 1/4 all the way through? Kevin will confirm this?

well the tdi site states that the hks is cat back and having had a look at Earpls, his fuji has exactly the same fittings as mine - it mates up the rear section just after the centre section to a coupling thats tucked up under the heat shield.

yup - the header is obviously the same ultimate diameter as the original at the 'joint but the design of the pipeing is optimised to make the gass flow better ... oh and it sounds the nuts
