Grid Covering Exhaust Backbox

i'm sure i've read a post before about removing the grid that hangs from the rear bumper inbetween the exhausts, but i can't find it.

has anyone else done this?

and how easy is it to do? :blink:

bend it up out the way or attack it with a grinder m8, was what i was told, cos aparently they a night mare to remove :D

Take your car for a healthy run to get it hot, the heat from the backbox tends to heat the thingy up then all you do is just bend the thing back under. Simple effective and trouble free. :)

:eek: Cut mine off years ago and passed it's mot's

which it wouldn't do if it was a stuctural part of the car I would have thought

its purely asthetic! not gonna affect your MOT!

only a bit of tin, i ground mine off, the stood on my bumper and broke it as i stepped back to admire my handy work
