Superguard....

Has anybody got any experiences of Superguard on older cars ?

I'm in the process of giving the old girl her summer coat and have the option to Superguard the exterior once completed. I know it's offered on a new car but not really familiar with the product, as I understand it it's supposed to add more shine, an extra protective layer and make the shine last longer....

Does anybody have any real information and experiences ?

About the super guard. Both mine and the wifes motors has got super guard on the car interior and exterior. The first thing that i notice is when the roads are mucky the dirt doesn't seem to stick to it as much it seems to stay cleaner a bit longer than normal just hosing it down seems to remove dirt. Also when you wash the car the water seems to bead just like you have polished the car before hand.

We were given a polish which you have to apply every 3-4 months to keep the super guard topped up. Also good for removing tar spots

Interior now i really cant comment on that as i really dont eat inside the car if i can help it. So i cant tell you what thats like mate.
