Bonnet Realease Cable

Hello,

Checking my service history, and found this report from Oakmere Toyota in Northwich

Water leak on vehicle. Strip out osf external and internal corner of car. Trace waterleak to bonnet release cable transfering water into cabin. Silicone seal cable grommets. Refit and test.

Does anyone have an idea of where this runs, and if it would be causing this.

Thanks

It wouldn't run that high up in your car.

It would go through the footwell and to the front of the car.

Few suggestions for the leak, (don't know what you've tried)

Door rubber, or seal on inside of car.

Black rubber that runs from front to rear of car along the top of roof, (does it actually cover anything???)

Rubber that holds windscreen in.

Have you actually removed the plastic piece and roof liner to find where it's coming from?

Daren't! Seems like it's too hard to get back on, there's blue plastic over the right edge.

(Think i'm cross posting here, better direct you to my other thread if you're interested in giving me some more advice.)
