T3 Mpg?

Hi all,

Just wondering, how many MPG can 1.6 T3's owners achieve?

I don't know whether I am doing good, but I mainly drive short journeys with roundabouts. It gives me ~28mpg if I drive it normal.

I realised an average of ~35-40 can be achieved on the motorway.

How about you guys?

From what i can remember i got an average of 74MPG!!

Can you put that into your results list

But seriously, from a full tank of petrol, about 50Ltrs, i can achieve about 400-450miles, so if someone can work out the average from that you can see how i drive my car.

You must either be driving it so gently or you drive alot of motorways?

Neither

You have to reset the computer once in a while, such as when you fill the car up, otherwise you gain an average MPG from when it was last reset, when could be some time ago, so the average could be 2000miles rather than say 200miles.

But saying that, i never really used it any way, if the car's empty of petrol, time to fill up

Well, I don't care about the MPG when someone is trying to take over ;) but every now and again, I try to remind myself to save fuel by looking at how well I am doing. :)

:) HI getting 48 mpg out of my 1.6 T Spirit manual . The average on a recent trip to the south of France was 47 mpg , that had some 80 mph runs on the toll roads . Hope this is of some help .
