Just got my Aygo Sport in Carbon Quartz with TTE springs.....(3 door) must say I'm very impressed...

Very well screwed together (as far as I can tell at this early stage) and goes well even 4 up...

The TTE springs do make a difference (visual and driving feel)....I've been going fairly easy on it for the first few miles but I can notice the difference (does have a tendency to bottom out with 4 adults going too quickly over speed bumps though  ....)

Overall I'm very pleased with it....now I can give my MR2 Turbo a well earned rest :D

Same as mine . . cool.

OK strange question . . is your steering wheel dead straight ?

You obviously have not tried tapping the A pillar near where it meets the dash / screen :D

Another Carbon Quartz! :) very nice looking colour..

When I had a 1.0L Yaris it went very well when full up too...they are good strong little engines..

Got any photos of your Aygo then?

I've done 1 000 miles in mine now.

Only moans are:

1. interior light not activated on passenger door

2. dash tray needs a lip to stop things sliding off

3. petrol cap is a bit complicated until you get used to it

4. quality of A pillar flexing by screen

5. tyres too skinny

6. seat belt warning comes on too soon

7. hard to judge front clearance

Overall I'm very impressed though with lots of positive views on the car

I agree with your points.....embarassed myself in the first petrol station I went in by having to kneel down next to the car to work out how the hell the petrol cap comes off (left-right twist!!! - easy now!!)

tyres are narrow....but then I wasnt expecting swampers

still not used to front clearance because the front end drops away so quickly.....always have loads more space when I park it!

going to get some friction mat from halford (I think they do it) for te dash tray - would be good location for MP3 you see ;-)

not noticed the A-pillar...and yes the seatbelt warning is REALLY annoying especially when just moving the cars around on the drive!!

Lovely pics Rich_tubby - Carbon Quartz is just the best colour on the Aygo - I think it looks brilliant :thumbsup:

. . . . sounds like its got an odd fuel cap tho!

It goes like this -

1. open petrol cover flap

2. insert ignition key into petrol cap

3. turn key a quarter of a turn anti clockwise

4. turn key a quarter of a turn clock wise (back to original position)

5. remove key

6. unscrew cap

7. fill up

8. screw back cap until resistance is felt

9. push hard on cap clock wise until a click is heard (cap is now locked again)

10. close petrol cover flap

That looks great. The Carbon Quartz is lush!

Thanks! :D - I like it alot....

although, my brother's car is off the road at the moment so he's borrowing it for a while...I've only had it for 2 weeks!!

i think that colour suits it the best too.....I really like how the paint changes colour - it has mica in it which catches the sun so it can go from looking quite a flat colour to sparkling...something you dont really notice under the fluorescent lights of the showroom....very nice.....

petrol cap sounds complicated but its really not once you're used to it...

I love Mica.... my Yaris is Carlo Blue Mica, and its gorgeous in all types of light!

Filling up sounds like a pain in the *** Until you get used to it, that is.

Have you been going round yours with a tuning fork or sommit? ;)

Mouldings on the A pillar seem fine, (though they are marked airbag don't want to see if they work  ),gained a resonance on the exhaust though  think its got a bit noisier  , though it could never get much noisier :thumbsup:

Well, I get mine in three weeks so I'll remember to see if I get the same thing.

Considering how much cost saving has been done, I wouldn't be at all suprised if there were bits like that on the interior.

When I ordered mine, I asked if I could have it in red!!! (because I think a small car like this looks more sporty in red)

So, it was to my surprise and pleasure when I was told that red was the basic colour and so was included in the basic price!

Another good surprise for a skint owd geezer, who doesn't like to be stung for more than he needs to pay!! :D

Raggy :)
