I have two problems.

My A/T Temp. light comes on after 1 plus hours driving in hot weather. I have replaced the radiator, changed the fluid and all the other regular maint. stuff. Any idea's, the tranny was rebuilt less than 26,000 miles ago (2 1/2 years).

Second problem is A/T related as well. If the truck sits for too long and gets cold enough. I have wait a good 5 min. to warm it up or it won't shift to 2nd gear. I hear a whirring noise.

I do not want to pay someone $100's of dollars just to open the transmission, any ideas would be great thanks in advance!!!
