Hope this link works. This is what my cd unit looked like after i fitted it to my yaris. Big up to the lads/ladies who provided the how to section. Respect to all those along the way. Never did get the front Speakers fitted though. As for space, you could fit additional autochanger within the shelf under the passenger seat, i did.

how do, i'm going to attempt to fit a head unit tomorrow and after reading the guides i think i'm fairly clued up on how to do it, however one thing i can't work out, where do the wires come from the plug into the iso connector,

is it from the back of the top bit or the back of the bottom bit of the dash??

It'll be the wiring that already plugs into your current radio/ cassette or CD player.

When you take the dash apart, and remove the headunit, you'll need to unplug it from the loom. You then plug the ISO adapter in there, and then into the back of your new headunit. ;)
