Whats The Point Of Buying A Yaris?

this is what i got asked by someone i know.

he said that he didnt see the point of small cars or the yaris t sport cos u mite as well just get a sports car. he also said its not much diff to the other yari

im gona show him what the t sport is capable of on sat, i recon his opinion will change...

how dare he insult a car i own... he is going to pick up his mk3 golf gti soon. the worse golf they make imo :P

Whats the point of buying a Yaris? Can't possibly choose just one!

For me it's the reliability, price & the fact that it's classed a Super-Mini yet it can easily cope with 4/5 people in it..when I had my T3 full up the Passengers said it was surprising spacious.

Oh and also they aren't as juicy as bigger engined cars, the VVT-i produces very good consumption so money is saved on petrol/running costs. I also like having a digital display (which okay isnt avail on the T-Sports) as everyone that sees mine is very impressed with the whole "futuristic" thing it has going on

People will have opinions on things - its life, if its different to yours, well thats also life!

I love my car, people I know love my car, but some people dont and thats their prerogative - I got a PM on another forum from someone saying they had hired a Yaris and thought it was awful - thats up to them, I cant change their opinions, they're entitled to them, they just happen to be wrong, bless their cotton socks!

I bought it cause it's cheap, reliable and does everything I need.

Most other cars would to, but then again, some look pants, some aren't as reliable and others aren't as cheap.

It's a car at the end of the day...

My girlfriend admitted that she couldn't see me driving her car (V*u*h*l* Tigra). I said that my 1.3 Yaris was hardly The Fast And The Furious! :P

She does like my little car though and it goes up the Welsh hill roads better than her 1.4 as the roof mechanism seems to make it back heavy.

We're picking up a bookcase from IKEA next week. Her birthday present to me. Guess which car we're taking?

too many reasons to list, i can understand that the shape of it and the car in general doesnt apeal to all people, but as soon as they hear mine and see it up close they love it, well thats what ive found so far!

one of my mates is always buggin me to have a drive he just loves the feel and the sound

Many reasons why I bought a Yaris. Its nippy for a 1 litre, it handles well and its reliable.

Very, very cheap insurance too 'cos don't forget, we live in 'rip-off the motorist' Britain! :ffs:

excellent point pointed out by ryan, when i first got my 1 ltr before the t sport it was my first car, it was also the first time id seen it, compared to other hatchbacks id been in, it felt so much bigger inside so much more spacious rather than the dash being up front taking over!

altho as it was my fisrt car, i couldnt afford anything too pricey insurance wise, seeing as id just passed, the 1ltr compared to other cars in its class seemed a lot niper but still remind low on insurance, being only group 7.
