Yaris' With An Electric Sunroof

Mine is, unfortunately a manual one.

I always feel like a berk whenever I try to open it, for example in a traffic que, on a hot day

I've a 2001 Yaris (CDX).

I've seen a 'T' reg. model with a sunroof - could that be electrical or do they all come as 'manual' ?

You can get electrical ones but its an optional extra - I saw a T-Sport I was thinking of getting and that had an electric sunroof!

Air cons cool but when its baking I stick my sunroof open to let some of the heat out, especially when its sitting in the works car park

yup i hate the winder as well. why on earth did they put a manual one in the t-sport. everythin else is electric in it :ffs:

why did they put a'moonroof' might i add, get it right :P on a car thats got aircon

no neeeeeeeeeeeeed. plus they add weight!

Em, are you sure you seen that? I think every UK spec Yaris has a manual sunroof!

If you have aircon you won't need to open it anyway!

Can you get a T-Sport without a sunroof?

sunroof and aircon is standard kit on a t sport, its better to have the sunroof and windows open anyway

Yep SR = Aircon + No sunroof !

I think the SR was the only model with aircon as standard hence the rest having a sunroof......I might be wrong though.

I meant the TS too but I was refering to lower spec models!

But the TS has both.......so surely the SR is better ;) !

Overall which is heavier?

I don't know the figures but it can't be too far behind in the 0-60!

I didnt actually see the car to tell the truth, but the ad in the Autotrader clearly stated "Electric Sunroof" because I posted it on here when I saw it and someone mentioned it was a rareity to get a leccy sunroof, but apparently you can get them!
