Toyo are meant to be good

I've currently got GT Radial Champiro on mine, good for the weather conditions here, but they aren't cheap!

175/64x14.. Goodyear or Bridgestones.. i would go for Bridgestones.

The Toyo's are good.. but the ones people go on about (t1-s and t1-r) aren't available in 14", they do the r610.. IMO Bridgestones or Goodyears are better.

Davy meant 175/65x14.

I used to have similar sized Bridgestones when I was running my steelies and they are pretty good grip wise and last well!

Bridgestone B391's I think they were called! :D

That's the ones Ryan.

Came on mine when i got my Yaris - think they're standard fitment?

They are classed as summer tyres, but have been good in the rain we've had so far.

Yes i meant 175/65x14's

The Yaris came with both Bridgstone B391 and Goodyear GT2 as standard.. if its winter tyres your after i know that Alan swears by Vredestein's.. now i know its not a name/brand that is known to everyone, but trust me, it's a top brand, excellent quality tyre from Holland.. you will find them one of the best around

thanks then..I will look for brigestone or goodyear 175/65 14" cause those here are easy to find..

by d way 2 weeks ago I was on a holiday in scotland ( 2nd time) and loved it very much..the most thing that I liked was that 2nd hand cars are verrrrry cheap even when you go for a yaris! even new cars are not so expensive! wish could get a decent car from Uk

You don't want a part worn set of 205/50R16 ones do you?

Yes, the Vredesteins are the donkey's for the winter (Snowtrac 2's), but I'm not sure how much use they'll be in Malta!

Having experienced them both, faced with the choice of the Bridgestone B391s or the Goodyear GT2s I would take the Bridgestones every time...

Yes, please!

I hope that helps somehow

Cheers,

Alan

We have Toyo's on the T-Sport and they are good tyres, very hardwearing which is good as it does a lot of mileage..plus they dont wheel spin like the ones which come as standard on the P2 Yarii do

I'll see what mine are tomorrow and i'll let ya know, but if they're too big for yours i'm guessing they'll be too big for mine :P

Otherwise I may take em off your hands when i'm over in January. What make are they?

What size of tyres are you running on Ross.. we sell GT Champiro's at work, and they are one of the cheapest tyres you can get.. 195/45x15 will be around £45.00 fully fitted, valve and balance. 16" would be about £55 or something.

You can get Toyo's 175/65/14's.... I've got the CF 1's on my car and are suberb in the dry and in the wet so should be just as good on a yaris ;)

Mine cost 240 Cyprus pounds (about 320 UK pounds) for the set of 4...

Could have got Nankangs instead, but declined...

So that kinda makes up for it.

My bridgestones were £20 each, in their nice standard 13" size. :D

Road tax however, is £105 a year! :(

I want a Prius - £60 a year road tax!
