Remote Locking

Hi Eveyone,Having problems with our remote central locking.Sometimes you can lock the doors and open them with the remote, sometimes you have to do it about 5 or 6 times.HAd it in garage 2 weeks ago and they changed Battery in the remote key,but thing still happens.

Can you 'reprogramme' the key? I know some motors do it by holding it in the door lock and doing a combination of turns to force the car to re establish communications with the key fob.

i will certainly try that,but i thought the garage would do this when changing out the Battery.

They may have done, but operating the remote a long way away from the car can lead to erratic operation. It could be this! Don't know why, just read it somewhere!

Never trust a garage to do something ;-)
