Thinking bout putting a bonnet vent on, but how do i stop the engine getting wet evertime it rains? Surely the engine getting so wet would do more damage than good?

what most people do is rather than cut a hole, paint the part under the scoop black, then mesh over the hole and you cant tell. Unless you want an actual intake hole?

the nose on the celica bonnet is blanked out by the way - and thats from the factory!

Ok cheers, I was thinking about that option, not worth cutting the hole through.

Wouldnt you get a puddle of water in the vent everytime it rains though?

drill a small hole in the lowest point of the bonnet under the vent, then run a drain pipe down to the ground, worth doing this else ur bonnet will rust with the stagnant water. Which scoop you going for, I was gonna fit a g6 gt4 on my old seo
