Thought it was time i gave you an update on how life's going :D

i have finished my chemo and radiotheraphy

the radio gave me a great tan...just a shame it was in the form of a big red square

its all been doable ..not easy at times but doable ;)

i'm now waiting for a ultrasound on my internals,and a bone scan,as i'm having alot of pain in my ribs

both are to check if it's spread anywhere else .....

......on the plus side if they find anything and i need to have chemo again

at least i'll get my free sandwiche at the hospital when i'm having it :shutit:

i'm also on tablets for 5 years Arimidex.

my hair is growing really well, its come back a different colour brown with blonde highlights,

i'm pleased about that,saves me having it dyed

I'm not so pleased about the other change though ,due to treatment i've put on alot of weight

and its not coming off easy

heres a couple of recent pictures taken on my honeymoon in july,for those that have not been to the recent meets.

i'm going to un pin this topic soon so it will slip away eventually,

and i hope i dont have to bring it back up,,,however if my tests do find something i'll bring it back and let you all know ;)

Update and an unpin

Today i have been to see my oncologist to get my results form tests i've had over the last couple of weeks,

i had a heart ecg and ultrasound and chest x ray last monday and this monday i had a bone scan.

the heart tests were to check if my hearts ok for having Herceptin [ the drug thats been in the news for a while, ladys were fighting to get it ]

the bone scan was due to pain i've been having in my ribs for a few months.

Well today i was told my scans are clear

i'm so happy as i've been very scared thinking that the cancer was back in my bones

The heart tests were clear too , so i have my 1st Herceptin next thursday :D

i'll be having that every 3 weeks for 12months

This post is to say a HUGE thank you to everyone on TOC that has been here for me,

Thank you all for all your support throughout the last 12months, but i've got to say a MAJOR

THANK YOU to a few wonderful people for being there for me when i've needed you
