Avensis 03 Satnav To Colour Satnav

Has anyone changed the normal SatNav to the Colour screen version, is this even possible?

Also, I've read posts in here from people talking about the SatNav system being in the boot. I've got an '03 TSprit and my TNS 200 system is under the passanger seat (Front). Is this normal or should it be in the boot?

My '53 T-Spirit is fitted with the CD based TNS200 Sat. Nav. system and, like yours, is fitted underneath the front passenger seat.

I would have thought that it would invove considerable work and expense to upgrade to a full colour Sat. Nav. as fitted to later models.

It would probably be cheaper to buy one of the new TomTom Go or similar portable models.
