Side Skirts For An E12 Cts

Hi,

I have owned my 2002 CTS for about 8 weeks now and love it, but not for its looks, so I purchased some genuine toyota side skirts from the later model of tsport/T3 corolla. Can anyone tell me how the hell these fit?

I can gather that they must sort of slide into some sort of clips on the bodywork, but obviously these clips are not already on my car because it is an earlier model! How would the dealer fit these if they were purchased as an option later on for example?

Im advised that these skirts are genuine however I did not buy them from a main dealer, and a main dealer told me that I cannot buy the skirts from a T3 over the parts counter they are fitted at the port of entry? Unless of course it is an insurance job!!!

is it a 3 door or five door tsport.

I enquired about getting skirts on my 5 door Tsport and was told by dealer that they only did the skirts for the 3 door and the newer facelift skirts would not fit my 5 door. The T3 has the skirts but these wont fit mine

The Sideskirts from the facelifted 3 doors and 5 doors model will fit the 3 doors and 5 doors Pre-facelift ( 2002-2004 )

I have the 3 doors facelift and put them on my 2005 3 doors Rolla my self and my mate has a 2002 T Sport 3 doors and we olso put them on his Rolla by our selfs ( we helped each other :group-cuddles: )

And another mate of mine from Belgium has a 5 doors 2003 D4D Rolla and he olso has the facelifted 5 doors Sideskirts on his Rolla without difficulties

I put them on my self BUT you have to bore some holes in your car and be shore you have all the clips etc etc .

You can order all of this when you have a Chassisnumber of a New model 3 doors CTS

I dont think im keen on the idea of drilling holes in my bodywork though!

I sprayed Valvoline ML Rustprevent in the holes afther i fitted the skirts from the inside of the car
