Front Brake Pads ( Cost )

just had a set of front brake pads fitted at my local toyota centre, cost for this job was £109, no expert, but this seems a bit over the top. any views on this cost? thanks!

From what I remember Toyota Labour is what stings you,

take the price of the pads off (£30-35)

and the rest is 1 hour labour plus VAT (£74-79).

Even though a mechanic friend did mine in roughly 15mins

Yeah this sounds about right.... fink its 0.8 of an hour for pads so its about right once u add the price of parts..

I bought my front pads from the internet (EBC Greenstuff for CTS £55) then took them to Mr. Clutch who fitted them for £30. Total of £85 for excellent pads (better than original fit).
