unless there is some sort of restriction caused by the standard backbox its unlikely to give any performance increase, the part of exhaust that has most effect on performance is the manifold, right down to the first expansion chamber ( silencer/cat) It will give sound increase, but not much, the TTE is fairly tame box, which to be honest, is right for most people as it gives a nice sound, but is not overly loud :D Also reccomend the Remus backbox as its very similar but has a different tailpipe design.

Under my G6-R , i had a LASER 100mm tailpipe and no midsillencer that sound was olso great

fot the AE111 i prefer the Laser with a 100mm tailpipe .

The TTE backbox has 2 x 76 mm tailpipes .

It looks a little doll to me

I emailed TTE and the back box gives no performance improvement...

u can purchase the TTE back box from a toyota dealership, should cost u about £150 which isnt by to be honest

sounds good, ive heard bad things about the tte 1 tho at the northern meet its said that they fall off

I Bought it here in Holland about 4 years ago i soldit about 6 month to a memebr of the Dutch Corollaclub and the Box was still "Hard " No rust at al but i drive about 23000 km a year

price was then 612 Guilders thats about € 280

hi guys;

I bought the TTE exhaust on eBay used, but in great condition.. about 50pounds .. + postage cost.

I sounds very nice, not so loud, but if it'll is warmed-up it is a pleasure to hear it :)

performance is on the same level, but I have better urban fuel consumption about 0.3-0.5 liter/100km better!
