hi all

i have a 91 corolla gti and while driving it last week the timing belt broke. i didnt realise it at the time and i tried to start the car twice then i realised what had happened. do ye think i have damage done to the engine.

any info?

best bet get a belt put on and see. i think the 4A-GE is supposed to be non-interferance but there are no guarantees

spot on the ge heads are safe heads

new from the factory and at idle.. but older engines with carbon build up, high revs???? as i said, should be ok but no guarantees
