1.6 Vvti '02 Corolla Engine Codes

Has anyone got the code as printed on the side of the engine to hand? Much appreciated!

Which one do you mean?

Your av. says a 1.6 Corolla so it should be

E3Z-E52 or E3Z-E62 (Manual/Auto respectively)

What do you need to know for?

Just making sure I order the right kit, apparently they don't do a VVTi 4AFE in the states !

Actually, they don't do a VVT-i 4A-FE anywhere, or any VVT-i A-series engine for that matter (the VVT on the 20-valve 4A-GEs is not the same thing either). The 1.6 VVT-i is a 3ZZ-FE. 1.8 VVT-i is a 1ZZ-FE, 1.4 VVT-i is a 4ZZ-FE, and the 1.8 VVTL-i is a 2ZZ-GE.

Ah, erm thanks for that, someone has got severely confused somewhere then (most probably me) Am, I right in assuming that the kit therefore wont work? :( Well that would be annoying!
