Spot Of Diy

Thought id do a bit of DIY, got myself a set of angel eye universal rings off eBay, i think they look pretty cool, wired them into side lights so come on with them, anyways - what are other peoples opinions on them!?

pic 1 - lights attached, wired to bat just to test they work!

pic 2 - finished all wired up properly, i took the black plastic fog surround off and ran the wiring behind that!

i apologise for the crap pics btw ill get some better ones later

Thats looking quite good charlie chalk!, gotta agree with gnome though that it ppl will flash you when,as they may think you ahve left ur fog lights.

Id be more impressed if you got them on the main lights but that would be difficult!

ill see how it goes, if need be i have a switch insde the car anyway so i can just re wire them into that so i can wack on when i feel the need

They look soooo cool! Couldnt you just wire them up AS your fogs? They seem dam bright enough, but i guess it would fail MOT if they were your fogs. They look kool! was good idea to put them there for ease but yeah in the cluster next to properly show off ure handy work!

ooo a manual angel eye job, always thought it was quite hard to wire them..... so how long did that take you?

its the easiest wiring in the world just a +ve 12v supply and an earth

angel eyes as in bmw lookalike do, but these arnt angl eyes as such. there just go around fog lights and dont do much but look cool.

On bmw they are the side lights

i reckon either bring em on, when side lights are on, or headlamps come ona dn the angel come on too

What would be cool, is if you could retro-fit them inside the Yaris headlights, to replace the sidelights.

Dunno how you'd go about it though. Only way I can see, is if you put it around the main beam bulb, but as not to interfer with it giving off light to the reflector unit....
