Hmm...parts

ive been pricing up some rear discs and pads for my car, as the ones on it are well and truly shot.

most places seem to charge about £20 + VAT per disc, and the same for the set of pads. however, ive found a company (http://www.sapmotorparts.com' target='_blank'>) that only charge £11 + VAT per disc and £13 for the pads.

why is this place so much cheaper - will they be crap?? has anyone dealt with them before?

Is it me or did you not say where this was???? does the price include vat or p+p that could jack the price up.....

sorry, i meant to include the link there. it's www.sapmotorspares.com. they're based in the uk, but i think deal mainly online. it's £9.00 p&p, so all in, for everything works out at just under £50.00. everywhere else it was around £80.00.

just wondered if the cheaper products might be poorer quality, or something?

I ordered a pair of front brake discs and a set of front brake pads on-line from sapmotors.com for my Carine 1.8. The cost was about £60 delivered. I fitted them myself (this was about 3 months ago) and so far the braking seems exellent.
