Another Parts Question

Hi, I need to get a clip for the bulb in one of my headlamps - don't know where it went. Anyhow the Toyota dealer told me they don't exist (even though there is one on my other headlight) and even printed out the manual page for me (it isn't on it).

Does anybody know if there is one of these from another car that would fit?

Most Toyota's are the same mate - a trip down to your local Breakers should solve your Problem - the retaining clip only comes with a NEW Headlamp,thats why it's

not shown seperately.

you on about the retainer that is fixed on one site & loops over to the other?

i had to bodge one when i got the Cynos - i couldn't find a replacement.

Sorry about delayed response, had a few days off and no internet access.

Yup, thats the one. There was never one on the drivers side - the bulb was either glued or siliconed in by the last owner. Bulb went, so then I found out.

Have been trying to figure out how to make one, cos I can't find one, but had no success so far. What does 'bodge' mean? Its a new one on me.

bodge basically mean quick dirty job.. its like not doin sumthing properly..

bodge job generally involves duct tape.

Or double sided tape & loo rolls :P

nah mines a bit of wire that hook on & round the bulb.

Don't ask how i did it i cant remember
