Japanese Inspiration

Occationally i stumble upon or get sent images of yari which i save into a folder to use as inspiration, well here are some i have - dunno if any have been posted before, but they might give someone some ideas...

This is a kit by Vertex (famous for kitting several D1GP cars like the HKS silvia, APEXI FD RX7 etc)

pretty subtle...

then this... i was sent this by a freind who thinks i should copy the tail lights... pink tints anyone...

Always loved this car... TRD usa i believe...

subtle blue/white jdm...

some more jdm vitzs...

some suggested i should do this to mine...

The orange and blue ones are but whats with the petrol cap cover on the top pink one??? Stick on, how chav!!!

Thats it, I'm goin to Japan on holiday! Buy hundreds of bits, ship it all back and you're set! :D

Make sure you buy enough to fill a 20-foot container then - the cheapest way to get them back... Either that or set up a DHL account before you go :D

I like the 2nd one back in the row of JDM Vitz - the white Enkeis (?) are gorgeous!

Obviously Japanese people are superior to us. These cars are awesome. Obviously the Yaris is quite popular over there. I bet it is so cool to work in the modding industry over there.

I love the orange one most.... i first saw it in Banzai magazine - sadly the arches are one offs :( by a company called molly designs (the car's nick name the became 'molly' - aww how cute) yeah the white rims on the 2nd blue jdm one are enkeis - same design as those used on all the RE Amemiya road cars and the RSR S15 silvia drift car.

by the way lee - the orange one is actually an echo and was made in the us :P
