On this fuelling debate.... on some cars it very much works!

EVO magazine have started dyno-ing every car they group-test and one car went from about 360bhp to 380bhp on Optimax! Think it was a TVR... can't be sure though!

Now that's a good mag... very well written... excellent pictures and based on the spirit of driving... just what car mags should be.

Evo is a flipping good magazine. Brings you a bit closer to the experience of driving a supedrcar.

thats true mate i read that too, just depends on th application first and responsive the car is to issues like this and how the ecu reacts.

my opinion is on a t sport with optimax performance increaes will be tiny, but will run smoother etc

What MPG are you other T-Sport owners getting.

Just got 46mpg on my T Sport :toast:

When the low fuel warning light came on I re-fueled within 2 miles. Put 38 litres in (it’s a 45 litre tank so obviously it had 7 litres remaining)

Managed 386 miles, so with the remaining 7 litres I could easily get way over 400 miles to a tank. That was with combined motorway and town driving using the air con about 50% of the time.

It seems to be getting more economical on the last 2 re-fills (BP 95ron)
