Hi all,

Just wondering if there are any Irish modders in this forum as looking for some help to modify my Yaris 5dr 1litre.

Cheers. :help:

PS. I don't mean to disrespect any other modders out there but i'd really like some information re irish bodyshops and suppliers.

or theres me lol i have 1.0l 5 door yaris and im a bodyshop!

I'm still driving on L plates, due to VERY slow driving test precessing(14 months so far! :ffs: ), so i don't want to do too much to the body just yet(have great plans though!). At present i want to change the suspension and lower it. I was thinking of a set of Koni springs. Anyone got other suggestions?

Nice to see you 18's

Which bit?

You'd be best off asking on some local irish forums, like cruise irl or something.. RMS has a few southerners on there too

offaly here..im on koni dampers and eibach springs on 16s ..the ride isnt harsh at all

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that set up cost? I've only got a couple of hundred to spend at the present and need to get the old grey bumpers on the Yaris painted out of that money as wells the suspension.

600 for wheels 300 for dampers and just over 200 euro for springs.got the springs off speedyparts ,the dampers from fensport in the uk and the wheels in dublin on the naas road .

All of these should work.

Woody27, i know the bumpers got to go just trying to find a good sprayer in the locality that won't charge me an arm and a leg.

CAMSHAFT, as suggested, suspension shot from driving on Irish dirt tracks a.k.a roads and lowering it is just something i'd like to do as i think the car would better.
