How To Change Colour Cd And Air Buttons?

Anybody have a tutorial? for change colur to Cd and air buttons??. That takes bulbs?

yup i did mine today. the heater dials were really easy. take the top part of the dash off and on the back u can see the bulbs. remove the bulbs and u will see wot i can only describe as bulb condoms lol over the bulb. remove them. once removed u need the paint lacquor. u wont be able to put this one straight away cos it wont take to the bulb. i needed to give mine a good rubbin down with some steel wool. let it dry then put them back in. as for the stereo im not so sure. cos mine isnt connected. but im sure is ut along the some lines.

oh and believe it or not. the bulbs on the speedo on the t-sport are blue

I think the bulbs are blue because the blue takes away the orange glow from the bulb giving it a chrisper white light ......... kind of the same thing with your headlights !

I like the dials and the radio surrond bit but unsure on the heater dials as it looks bit messy ther in red. Well done on being the first to do it though :D

he is not the first to do it, speedy posted this up couple weeks ago, i think in his tutorial he took out the bulbs and replaced with cathodes if i remember correctly

Sorry yeah i meant this method in red! I know matt also did it using clear coloured sheets of plastic to change the 3D display didnt he? Yeah only thing with changing heater control bulb colour is it looks odd where it should be blue to red from cold to hot!

Quick question on cold cathodes, u can get them in red right? do they look good in red as only ever seen in blue!

as far as ive seen u can get them in a few colours, red, blue, white, purple , UV etc etc when i got mine i got them off ebuyer
