The Toyota fascia can be ordered from any Toyota parts desk.

Just make sure it's the correct number for your Phase 1. ;)

If you mean door Speakers, yes they are 6.5" with an autoleads adaptor which mounts them in.

There's loads of choice here... Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine, Focal... all around £40-£70 and excellent quality units.

Hmmm... Didn't see that avatar earlier.

I said P1, because Famz has said "P1 Yaris" in his/ her post.

Is yours a T2 1.0 Famz? If it is, and it's a french build, look for my post in the How-To section, as I found my T2 French built Yaris had a different fascia adapter to the others. I put the part number in there too. ;)

yep gnome it is a 2003 1.0 t2 model, bt after seeing the thread on Which yaris i have p1 or p2 im pretty sure its a p1 (evn i wasnt sure b4) because:

i HAVE'NT got the Tear drop headlights and also one of the workshop guides the P1 dash looks exact same as mine so i gt a p1.

i rang the local toyota dealers and they said the facias will cost me £37.

lukin at ur avatar it seems u gt tear drop headlights m8.

Yeah, mine's def a P2.

Just looks like you got teardrop headlights in ure avatar though.

Price sounds right for the fascia. Just make sure it's the right one now. They ordered it correctly for me on their 3rd attempt. First one was for a Jap P1, then the second time they ordered one for a Jap P2, and then finally got it right when they ordered it for a French built P2! :D

Have you got any pics of the interior and exterior that are a bit bigger perhaps? to me it looks like a P1 in your avatar..

Oh and Earpl did a sticky thread which is at the top of the page in the Yaris forum..that may help?

I was under the impression that all P1's were jap built, and only the later P2's were French built anyways?

On mine it's a simple as looking at a sticker in the top right (driver's side) of the front windshield. It'll say "Made in Japan/ France" on it. ;)

Otherwise, looking at the Chassis number will tell you too.

Looking at your avatar it looks like you have got teardrops but I had a real good look there and its seems you haven't! Sorry for any confusion caused!

But T2's were phase 2 models and not phase 1 models so I dunno!

hw do i find out wt P1 my yaris is, if its a japan 1 or french?? ne ideas?

If it's a T2 like you say, then it's a Phase Two... no questions asked. In which case it's made in France.

It definatley looks like a P2 in your avatar... the lights have the more chrome effect to them and i don't see an aerial at the front.

What??

Phase 1 outside, Phase 2 inside!!

So you need a phase 1 adaptor!

Strange...Did other owner (cos i think you got it second hand) mention whether it had been in an accident or something similar?

If it was in an accident, maybe it was repaired using P1 front end (if in a head-on collision)?

That's the same wheels, and interior as mine. Looks identical, bar the bumper/ lights, etc at the front.

Yeh mate you defo need a phase 2 fascia. Sorry, i was having a moment of madness before!! Sorry for the confusion. But like Gnome said, it's been repaired with a phase 1 front end

It's a P2 interior def, by the looks of things.

Lol - I can see why you were confused.

It does look good though - perhaps the best of both worlds. ;)

I found when ordering the faceplates for mine, the part was different to the codes given in the How To forum.

I added the codes for mine to the forum (as mine is a French-built P2).

I'll have a look for them for you. ;)

*Edit. Famz, here's the link I used. It has the part numbers in for phase 1 and two, and links to the fitting guides.

The last post on page 3 is one I posted, as I found out that my French P2 had yet a different fascia adapter!

You might have to get that one if yours is a French-built model.

THE LINK!!!!

HTH dude.
