Rav 4 Clutch

i've just discovered how pricey a replacement clutch is for a Rav4 4x4!!!

does anyone have any recommendations for a garage in the london area who's good value and experienced in replacing a worn clutch in a mid 90's Rav4.

my current quotes are £300++..... the garage folk talked about haldex, and one even said he wouldn't touch it, it was too complicated.... arrghhh....

there must be a good value Toyota specialist in London to handle this???

£300 inc fitting is brilliant

Its an engine out job and can take around 10-12hrs

Just to point out, there is now a Rav 4 sub section in the 4x4 forum. Just have a look at the top of the 4x4 section and you'll see it.

Must admit, didn't realise it's an engine out job! Mine will probably be due soon.

How come it's engine out, and not just gearbox out?
