Corolla 2002 And Corolla 2005

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me is there really that much differences between the facelift version and the 2002 version?

I have the 2002 version as you could see on the photo, it's a 03 reg and comes with a fitted spoiler and the front thingy (grill? skirt?). I notice that the new version has got a silver instrument panel and side skirts, is that it then?

Do they really look alot better than the verison that I got?

the lights are round than square looking, front and back on the new version

I have the front spoiler thing, was part of the style bodykit, which included that, rear spoiler, chrome trim around the front grill and on the bottom of the boot door and a chrome tail exhaust pipe

Not all new models have sideskirts on the body , when mine was original they worn,t on the Rolla , i bought them my self and put them on

Headlights are different and the taillights are different a buddy of mine has some facelift taillights for sail and more Airbags are on the car

i thought the 1st E12 model had 6airbags built in somewhere, so where are the new bags then, in the rear and boot

Yes the bumpers are differnet as well. i would hav not bought the old model and i like the new sexy look. i think they changed the interoir as well. like the seat colour are diffentent much better mine is blue and balck. And the dials of the speed meter are differnt as well. there is a name for it but just dont remeber what they call it. i think thts abt it. as all the rest is mentioned already. lights hav changed much better.

I think that the name they give it is "Optitron" - or something like that. It's essentially a backlit dashboard which is extremely clear.

but optitron had also pre facelift model, with the highest package.

the facelift model is a little bit better more nice from behind (rear bumber and lights) but I don't like the front mask (grille) . It;s painted, unsporty by my ming. you can see that T sport has BLACK

its only standard on the t-spirit and t-sport models,

t-spirit has white a red colours, t-sport has only red colours.

One of the biggest improvements on the inside of the facelift T Sport compared to pre-facelift is the fact all the dash lights, headunit lights and speedo clock lights are all the same colour and is a nice orangy/red colour! Before it was an awful mix of green dash lights and red speedo lights...

They colded overhere in Holland the Corolla S-Line black and bleu seat covers and the sideskirts and rearbumperecorners

it would be interesting to compare the performance of pre facelift and facelift model. to perform some sprint or something else..

because I read somewhere that the newer 2004 mod (facelift is selling from 2004 not 2005!) that because of euro4 it has a little bit worse engine performance than 2002model (it has euro3)
