Are Universal Air Filters Universal?

A Universal Air Filter kit, will it fit my 96 Seo ST? Or is there a specific model I will need to get?

they will work, but they suck, you'll just suck in hot air and i cant be bothered to explain then why and the how to avoid this...but if you want to keep on it for the " look " and " noise " then at least make up a heat shield around the filter and wrap up the intake pipe as well

it will fit, but u'll need to sort out a way of attaching it to the intake hose and a bracket to stop it moving about.
