might be worth changing the fuel filter too, HT leads check condition, power steering fluid (if u have it). I know as part of my last service at the toyota dealer they greased up any nuts or bolts or moving parts that needed it, plus u should get your brakes checked and check your shocks for leakage. What i used to do before i started servicing my car myself, I would take it to ATS and get them to do their ten point safety check then go get it serviced but i dont know if ATS still offer that for free anymore, been a few years since ive been there.

  • 1 month later...

did the oil, oil filter, plugs, air filter, all other fluids look fine and are topped up. do think 1 or more shock has gone as knocking noise comin from around rear.

what is oil capacity for this car ? im guessin around 4 litres (used around 3.5 as unsure but will top up tommorow)

is it ok to use optimax ? just want to run £5-10 to give insides a good clean. dont want to use other stuff you can get of shelf (oil and fuel treatment in case it damages gaskets/seals)
