Oil Consumption Problem

HAPPY AS ANYTHING TODAY FINALLY GOT MY CAR BACK AFTER 2 WEEKS. WAS BURNING OIL AND HAD LOWER BLOCK REPLACED. JUST GOES TO SHOW MR T WILL SORT IT.

My car is 2002 1.6 corolla t-spirit. started burning oil after 30k service in august 2005. at first iwas told its ok but i insisted it was not. they started monitoring it and it was using about 1.5 litres to 1000 miles hope this helps. the fault i was told was that one of the bores had gone oval
