Engine Rattle

only just bought my aygo, and thanx 4 the fog light tips (no i dont use them in non foggy weather!!!). new question though, does anyones engine rattle when you ARE IN 1ST, 2ND OR 3RD GEAR. I KNO ITS ONLY 3 CYLINDER, BUT IT NEVER USED TO DO IT, NOW IT SOUNDS LIKE A VAN!!!

Obviously the engine will be a bit noisy, especially when cold.

I haven't noticed any deterioration in noise from new, but I have noticed the a pillar trim has started vibrating under engine vibration which is a bit annoying.

i have found that before i crashed my aygo, the rattle came from the water pump. apparently this is a general fault on toyotas. the only way i got rid of it was by going for a 5 minute drive keepeing the revs high to warm up the engine and then it seemed to stop for the rest of the day. i dunno if this is of any help. B)
