Hi everyone. I'm a new CTS owner but used to have a Yaris T-sport a while back. Quick question..

Accelerated up to about 70mph quite quickly last night and heard a loud crash from the front drivers side wheel. Turns out the wind had forced the inner plastic wheel arch to come away and shread against the tyre.. Its now hanging quite loose and I can't do over 60mph without it rubbing.

Wondering whether the toyota dealer will fix this. Only had the car a few days. Its out of the main three year warranty but Toyota did give me 1 years Toyota approved warranty.

Anyone else had this problem? And do you reckon the dealer will fix it under the warranty?

Totally unacceptable - this should be covered by the warranty with no questions asked.

This has happened to me twice now, same scenario - this last one lasted 1 month before it split and it finally gave up the ghost after 6 months so a replacement needed again after less than 2,000 miles.
