Anyone bought a new electric aerial for a mk4 soop, do you know how much, where from and how easy they are to fit??

not sure how much they are i should imagine about 30 squids from mr T, but the are very easy to fit! i done mine only the other week took me 5 mins

and the rest! I once enquired and it was closer 100!!!!

The annoying thing is the generic ones don;t seem to fit properly.... and a poorly fitting antenna lets water in :(

O snapped mine off in the end :lol: Getting it smoothed over, they only ever seen to play crap on the radio these days anyway :hokus-pokus:

Yep, in the region of £110 i think. However 9 tiimes out of 10 its only the mast that people need which i think is a lot more reasonable.

thanks chaps, i think the motor still works, as when i change to radio it makes that annoying wurrin' noise as if its trying to retract, and your right dont play anything worth listening to anyway!

anyone got mr T's number in surrey, is there one in Guildford????

Id be lost without my radio. Mind you I only listen to radio 4. The only music on that is Friday morning at 09:00 when it is Desert Island discs. It was a good one the other week as the castaway was the bumbling fool Boris Johnson, the week before it was Michael Winner and he was hillarious. Most of the time it is people you've never heard of and it is obscure 40's and 50's and crappy classical obscurities.

Sorry just thought I'd have a ramble.
