:help: i really need some help here guys and gals, yes i am new to this site, but hey i need help and you people know whats what when it comes to previas, i hope :thumbsup:

we are thinking of buying a late 2003/4 previa 2.0 or 2.4, i like the t3 series or spirit :yes: but our problem is which is best as an all rounder? ie - diesel or petrol.

anybody? please advise... :thumbsup:

Ours is petrol, my brothers is the same spec and age but diesel. The petrol version will get you away from the lights quicker and the Diesel wil get you furthur on one tank and only sounds like a tractor when it's idling, the rest of the time it's fine. We went for petrol only because we plan to convert to lpg next year (when the warrenty runs out!)

Diesel is hard to come by compared to petrol... Toyota dealerships find them hard to get hold of as everyone tends to keep them.

If you buy a diesel you will not only save money but you we have less depreciation costs and you will find it very easy to sell on.

Also at high speeds they are pretty good as I hired one for a weekend... impressed.
